Company Overview
Java Foods Limited is one of Zambia’s leading manufacturers of quality food products. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing function and drive brand growth, market penetration, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the Company’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, outdoor, and traditional channels.
- Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and consumer engagement initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and support business decision-making.
- Manage and protect the Company’s brand identity across all customer touchpoints.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.
- Oversee digital marketing activities, including social media, website management, online advertising, SEO, and email marketing.
- Collaborate with Sales and other departments to support product launches, promotions, and business growth initiatives.
- Monitor marketing performance and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional marketing qualifications such as CIM or Digital Marketing Certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ marketing experience, preferably within FMCG, food manufacturing, or consumer goods industries.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing leadership or management role.
- Proven experience in brand management and the successful delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of consumer behaviour.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
