JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose
This position is responsible for marketing and sales functions of the Value Addition section in line with the overall Company strategies and goals.
Main duties
1. Develop the overall sales and marketing strategy
2. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic plans
3. Develop an annual branding strategy
4. Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy across key market segments.
5. Assess, build and manage an array of necessary channels capable of delivering on the company’s growth objectives.
6. Plan and drive sales growth for the unit by prospecting, winning and returning key customers.
7. Generate maximum business enquires and participate in R&D.
8. Maintain relationships with customers and be a point of contact to the customers.
9. Plan and execute business plans for key customers in the market.
10. Manage the retail and online stores.
11. Manage the execution of the company’s social media strategy.
12. Oversee the daily sales and manage set targets.
13. Manage stock levels.
14. Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
1. Professional Qualifications
• Grade 12 certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, production management, or any related field
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)
2. Minimum Relevant Job Experience:
Three years’ experience in a similar position in gemmology/jewelry making, jewellery retailing, FMCG or fast paced working environment.
3. Skill Specifications:
• Budgeting and forecasting skills
• Data manipulation skills (e.g. conversant with MS Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and within budget
• Problem solving skills
• Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills

5. Valid Driver’s license
