JOB DETAILS:
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
• Installing and maintaining electrical systems contained in heavy duty vehicles.
• Performing electrical diagnostics fault finding on vehicle systems
• Repairing electrical and electronic faults and to repair electrical components.
• Checking and testing components and faults after repairs.
• Maintaining a clean work environment.
• Completing job reports and processing paperwork.

The Required Qualifications are:
• Grade 12 School certificate or equivalent with at least 5 credits.
• Must have a minimum qualification of Craft certificate in Automotive Electrical.
• Qualified in vehicle diagnostics.
• Must be computer literate.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as Mechanic/Auto Electrician

The Required Attributes Include:
• Computer skills for operating DAF truck diagnostic software.
• 12 voltage and 24 voltage direct current knowledge.
• A problem-solving ability.
• Experience with DAF trucks.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
