Autoguard Engineering Limited is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative engineering projects that contribute to the automotive landscape of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
-As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
-Conducting feasibility studies, technical assessments, and cost evaluations for projects.
-Overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
-Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
-Preparing technical reports, documentation, and proposals where required.
-Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, projects, and operations) to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.
-Providing technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
-Continuously researching and recommending improvements in technology, design, and processes.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Valid Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) Certificate.
- Grade 12 School Certificate with credits or better in key subjects.
- Valid Practicing License issued by the Engineering Institution of Zambia.
- Must be a fully registered member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of engineering design software and CAD tools will be an added advantage.
Required Documents

- Certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
- EIZ Certificate and a valid Practicing License.
- Copy of National Registration Card (NRC).
- Copy of Grade 12 School Certificate.
