Medpoint Clinic & Diagnostic Center, Kitwe is inviting applications from suitably qualified and dedicated candidates for the position of Medical Doctor (Full Time).

Job Purpose:

To provide comprehensive, patient-centred medical consultations, diagnosis and treatment for both outpatients and inpatients while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Completed mandatory medical internship
• Valid full practising registration and current practising licence with HPCZ
• Previous clinical experience in a busy hospital/clinic will be an added advantage
• Must be based in Kitwe / Copperbelt

Skills Needed:

• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate - ability to use EMR and MS Office
• Competency with printer/scanner for medical reports
• Professional, ethical and able to work in a multidisciplinary team

• Conduct thorough medical consultations, diagnosis and management of patients
• Manage outpatient and inpatient care
• Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests, lab investigations and imaging
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and clinical protocols
• Work closely with Nursing, Laboratory, Pharmacy and other clinical teams
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records (electronic & physical)
• Participate in emergency triage, clinical audits and community health outreach
