Background

Our client, a Global Healthcare and Crop Science Innovation company, is seeking Merchandisers to join their team. The Merchandisers will be responsible for producing sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.
• Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
• Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
• Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
• Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
• Remain up to date with industry’s best practices.

Requirements

• A full grade 12 certificate
• Minimum Certificate in Agriculture from a recognized and approved institution.
• Experience in merchandising or any related activity with farmers will be an added advantage.
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail especially with numerical data
• Sound Communication skills for Work Efficiency and effectiveness
