JOB DETAILS:
Responsible to effectively lead and manage the Mining exploration through planning, overseeing and coordinating all mining exploration related activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee Mine design, Planning and development and scheduling of Mining progression.
• Conduct forecasting and budgeting.
• To ensure timely preparations of quarterly Labour returns and mineral returns.
• Enforce compliance with mining regulation and statutory requirements.
• To prepare future reports for mining operations.
• Monitor plans and reviews against targets and performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance systems and productivity.
• Supervisor and mentor other Mine personnel’s.
• Maintain a positive and safe work environment at all times. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Mentor junior employees and provide training on mine planning and operational best practice.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
• Holder of current Zambian Blasting License and valid First Aid Certificate
• Minimum of Five (5) Years’ experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
