JOB DETAILS:
Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region. It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution, and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stock feed, and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

DRIVER TRAINER– (HUNTLEY FARM) (X1)
The required skills for the role include:
• Ensuring drivers understand and follow state and local traffic regulations, as well as company safety protocols.
• Working closely with the fleet management team to identify training needs and implement tailored training programs.
• Reporting all accidents and incidents to the logistics and workshop manager.
• Teaching safe driving practices, defensive driving techniques, and company-specific policies and procedures.
• Work with the transport manager on the selection and hiring of new drivers.
• Conducting weekly toolbox meetings with the drivers.
• Maintaining accurate records of training sessions, certifications, and evaluations for each driver.
• Staying updated on new driving technologies, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Designing and implementing safety meetings under the direction of the Environmental safety manager and Transport Manager.
• Driving routes/field trips as needed.
• Performing all other duties assigned by the Transport Manager
• Offering ongoing coaching and guidance to drivers to help them improve skills and meet company objectives
• Providing training on accident prevention, proper vehicle maintenance, and emergency response.

Required Qualifications and Experience
• Must have a Grade 12 Certificate
• Valid driving instructor’s license or certification.
• Proven experience as a driving instructor.
• Clear criminal record.
• Class C/CE PSV License Endorsements

The Required skills, Knowledge and Competencies for the role Include:
• Analyzing performance of drivers per individual
• Proper and accurate records Ability to keep.
• Able to create suitable training programs
• Ability to interact with staff and others in an open, friendly, business-like manner.
• Ability to follow regulations pertaining to the safe operation of vehicles and equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

RATIONS OFFICER – HUNTLEY FARM (X1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
• Accurately preparing journey management for all drivers and assignments
• Disbursing Ration money to departmental staff in line with company policy
• Receiving and verifying retirements from users and processing replenishments based of verified returns (council receipts)
• Accurate and complete data capturing
• Raising External/Internal Orders.
• Managing cash balances and ensuring the safety thereof judiciously
• Reconciling all movements and cash balances regularly
• Ensuring all personnel are provided with the correct amount of rations
• Preparing regular reports on ration usage and forecast future needs.

The Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Must have a Grade 12 Certificate
• Entry Level Professional Qualification or equivalent and actively upgrading to ACCA/ZICA/CIMA
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in cash, debtors and creditors management.
• Computer Literate
• Professional Membership

The Required skills for the role Include:
• Strong attention to detail
• Understand the principles of effective customer service process
• Ability to work in pressured and deadline-driven operating environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
