Fundraising and Development Department
Location: Monze, Zambia

Position Details & Qualifications

1. Development Director

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee fundraising and donor engagement strategies
• Build relationships with partners, stakeholders, and community members
• Coordinate and support youth-led initiatives and campaigns
• Represent the organization in fundraising events and strategic meetings

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Relations, or a related field
• Proven experience in community engagement, donor relations, or youth leadership (formal or volunteer)
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong coordination and communication abilities

2. Grants Manager

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential grant opportunities and calls for proposals
• Draft and submit compelling funding proposals
• Maintain grant tracking systems and ensure compliance with deadlines
• Support reporting and communication with donors

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Project Management, Development Studies, Communications, or related fields
• Some experience in proposal writing or working with NGOs (volunteer experience accepted)
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively

3. Fundraising Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate community fundraising campaigns and outreach activities
• Support digital fundraising efforts through social media and online platforms
• Plan and execute fundraising events
• Mobilize youth and community participation in fundraising efforts

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Community Development, or related field
• Experience with youth mobilization, events, or online fundraising is an added advantage
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment

4. Research Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Support data collection, surveys, and impact evaluation projects
• Organize and analyze data to support fundraising and program planning
• Assist with writing reports and presenting research findings
• Collaborate with program teams to gather insights and monitor progress

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Social Sciences, Statistics, Education, or a similar field
• Interest or basic experience in research or community-based projects
• Proficiency in basic computer tools (Excel, Google Forms, etc.)
• Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
