Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU) is a privately owned, accredited university in Zambia that specializes in medical education. LAMU is regulated by the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ), the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), and the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA). We are inviting applications from highly motivated and qualified individuals to fill the following positions:

1. Dean – Faculty of Nursing
• Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing (Minimum), PhD Preferred
• Experience: 5+ Years in Teaching and Research, 3+ Years in Academic Leadership/Management
• Professional Requirements: Expertise in Curriculum Development, Research, and Mentorship; Registered with NMCZ with a Valid Practicing License

2. Assistant Dean – Preclinical Sciences
• Qualifications: MSc or higher in Basic Sciences or MBChB with Human Biology
• Experience: 5+ years lecturing experience, 3+ years in academic management

3. Paediatric Lecturer
• Qualifications: MMED in Paediatrics or equivalent, with 3+ years lecturing and 5+ years clinical experience

4. Senior Lecturer – Health Sciences
• Qualifications: PhD in Public Health or related field
• Experience: 5+ years teaching/research experience, 5+ publications

5. Lecturer – Public Health
• Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in Public Health or related field
• Experience: Teaching, research experience, and publications required

6. Head of Department – Pharmacy Practice
• Qualifications: Registered Pharmacist with MSc/PhD in Clinical Pharmacy
• Experience: 5+ years teaching/research experience, 3+ years management experience

7. Lecturer – Environmental Health
• Qualifications: Master’s or PhD in Environmental Health or related field
• Experience: Teaching, research experience, and publications required

8. Lecturer/Tutor – Mathematics
• Qualifications: MSc or BSc in Mathematics (with Education for tutors)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience

9. Tutor – Chemistry (Chipata Local position, Chipata Residents preferred)
• Qualifications: BSc in Chemistry (with Education for tutors)

10. Lecturer – Pharmacy Practice
• Qualifications: Registered Pharmacist with MSc in Pharmacy Practice or related field
• Experience: Teaching/research experience required

11. Office Cleaner (Kabwe Local position, Kabwe Residents preferred)
• Education: Minimum of a Grade 9 or 12 Certificate (depending on the institution’s requirements)
• Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is an added advantage
