JOB DETAILS:
1. Primary School teacher (Grade 3)
A dedicated Primary Teacher specializing in the Oxford Curriculum with extensive experience working with children across diverse learning needs. Possessing a strong understanding of the Cambridge or Oxford primary framework, ensuring the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate, and comprehensive lessons that promote academic excellence and holistic development.
Experienced in designing and implementing differentiated lesson plans to cater to a wide range of abilities, including students with special educational needs (SEN). Skilled in assessing individual student progress and adapting teaching strategies to support learners with diverse needs, including those with learning disabilities, speech and language challenges, autism spectrum disorders, and attention-related difficulties.
Proficient in creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence, independence, and social-emotional development. Adept at collaborating with special education professionals, parents, and support staff to develop and execute tailored intervention plans that maximize each child’s potential.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to nurturing a supportive and positive learning atmosphere, utilizing various teaching aids, assistive technologies, and innovative methods to engage students with special needs effectively. Maintains ongoing communication with stakeholders to monitor progress and ensure a nurturing, inclusive educational experience for all students.
Position Requirements:
1. Educational Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education, Special Education, or a related field.
– Registered with TCZ
2. Teaching Experience:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching primary students within the Oxford or Cambridge curriculum.
– Proven experience working with children across diverse learning needs, including students with SEN and learning disabilities.
3. Curriculum Knowledge:
– Strong understanding of the Oxford Primary Curriculum framework.
– Familiarity with the Cambridge primary framework is an advantage.
4. Special Educational Needs Expertise:
– Experience designing and implementing differentiated lesson plans.
– Knowledge of strategies to support students with speech and language challenges, autism spectrum disorders, attention difficulties, and other learning disabilities.
5. Assessment & Adaptation Skills:
– Proficiency in assessing individual student progress.
– Ability to adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learner needs.
6. Inclusive Classroom Management:
– Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
– Skilled in fostering confidence, independence, and social-emotional development among students.
7. Collaboration & Communication:
– Experience working collaboratively with special education professionals, support staff, and parents.
– Strong communication skills for ongoing stakeholder engagement and reporting.

– Proficient in utilizing assistive technologies and innovative teaching aids to support diverse learners.

Requirements for the Role:
– For supporting bilingual students: Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required.
– Valid TCZ (Teacher Certification in Special Education) or equivalent qualification is preferred.
– Prior experience working with children or students with special needs is advantageous.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families.
– Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to individual student needs.
