PSV TRUCK DRIVERS, LUXURY CAR DRIVERS, HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS/HELPER MECHANICS AND AUTO ELECTRICIANS

TIME TRUCKING LIMITED /TIME PETROLEUM LIMITED, the leading transportation companies in Zambia, are looking to employ qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions:

1. PSV DG TRUCK DRIVERS (VOLVO/ SHACMAN-MANUAL & AUTOMATIC) (20)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Must be 35 years or older with 7+ years’ experience driving Volvo or Shacman trucks and trailers (both manual and automatic gearbox).
• Testimonials: Traceable references or certificate of service from reputable companies are required.
• Licenses: Valid PSV Driving License and Passport
• Nationality: Must be Zambian with a valid Green NRC
• Clearance: A valid Police clearance and fingerprints certificate (not older than 12 months)
• Mechanical Knowledge: Mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage.

2. LUXURY CAR DRIVERS – (10)

We require highly experienced Light Vehicle Drivers with a track record of driving high-end executive vehicles including Mercedes Benz, Land Cruiser, and Range Rover.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Experience: 5-7 years’ experience, preferably some whose worked with embassies, diplomatic missions, or high-level executives
• Testimonials: Traceable references or certificate of service from reputable companies are required.
• Ethics: Must demonstrate utmost professionalism, confidentiality. and defensive driving skills
• Record: Clean driving record and valid license

3. HEAVY DUTY TRUCK MECHANICS – (20)

JOB PURPOSE

To perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, and trailers ensuring all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and operating efficiently. Responsible for identifying mechanical issues and providing technical solutions to minimize vehicle downtime.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic, preferably within the transport or logistics industry.
• Technical know-how: Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and vehicle systems.
• Diagnostic Ability: Ability to work independently, diagnose faults, and provide hands-on solutions
• Type of Experience: Must have hands-on experience working with Volvo, Shacman trucks, and a solid understanding of Cummins engines.

4. HELPER MECHANICS – (10)

JOB PURPOSE

To assist the lead mechanic with the servicing, repair, and upkeep of heavy- duty trucks. Duties include organizing tools, preparing parts, and supporting the repair process under supervision.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, preferably within the transport or logistics industry.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or relevant experience in vehicle maintenance
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop or roadside environments

5. AUTO ELECTRICIANS – (10)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven work experience as auto electrician for both light and heavy duty vehicles.
• Must have hands-on experience working with Volvo, Shacman trucks, and a solid understanding of Cummins engines.
• An appropriate qualification, minimum certificate in your trade
• Able to use Volvo Tech-tool for diagnosis
• At least 5 years of experience
