R A Consulting Services is seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team in the following roles:
– Network Engineer
– Server Administrator
– IT Personnel
Key Responsibilities: – Network Engineer:
– Design, implement, and maintain computer networks within the organization.
– Provide support to users and troubleshoot network problems.
– Secure network systems by establishing policies and defining access controls.
Ensure safety and security of all computerized data, information, files and documents.
ensure internet availability and reliability, working with ISP to make sure the internet services are working well and properly managed.
ensure full operation of network utility procedure (active directory administration) and security attributes, establishing directories, drive mapping, configuring network printers and providing user access.
– Server Administrator:
– Oversee daily operations of company computer servers.
– Upgrade software and hardware to develop company computer systems and security.
– Troubleshoot technical problems and monitor system activity.
troubleshoot and monitor network problems: file server traffic, usage and performance, network security access and space usage.
administration of anti-virus server, virus detection, removal and prevention for all systems, ensure periodic anti-virus update, anti-virus protection and other required software for the client.
– IT Personnel:
– Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
– Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure and ensuring system security.
indexing the ports/outlets in the server room, keep ICT equipment, storage area and work area clean and organized including other accessories.
administer and maintain office servers (mail, active directory and others) and all LAN/WAN equipment, periodically updating software and configurations as well as the copies of the systems and databases.
perform weekly reports on ICT equipment and fix any arising incidents and provide reports thereof.
maintain documentation of processes, procedures and troubleshooting guides including tracking vendor service requests upto completion.
Ensure the faulty machines under warrant are reported to procurement before any works on them can be carried out.
Requirements:- Full Grade 12 certificate
– Diploma or degree in a relevant field to IT (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking)
Preferred Skills: – Network Engineer:
– Experience with Cisco routers, firewalls, and network protocols.
– Knowledge of network security and vulnerability assessment.
– Server Administrator:
– Experience with server operating systems (Windows, Linux).
– Knowledge of database management and security.
– IT Personnel:
– Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security.
– Familiarity with IT service management principles.
