JOB DETAILS:

Zambia National Building Society seeks to externally recruit a qualified, skilled, motivated, and energetic individual to fill the Network Engineer position under the ICT Directorate.

Job Purpose

To manage ZNBS computer network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications.

Responsibilities or duties

• Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME's, project managers and senior staff members
• Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant Technologies, industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders
• Analyse performance information for audit and maintenance purposes so that network services and peripherals are efficiently and cost effectively provided
• Provide day to day support of the business systems to ensure effective IT Security on Networks.
• Establish sound IT Network Infrastructure management approach.
• Build resilience in the Network.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Grade Twelve (12) certificate.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
• Certification in CCNA, A+, Network + Certified, MCSA, TOGAF, ITILv4, COBIT 5 or Security +
• ICTAZ Membership

Experience needed

• Three (3) years relevant work experience.
