Royal Therapy Mental Health Services is inviting applications from passionate, dedicated, and caring individuals to fill the position of Nursing Assistant.

Position Requirements

  • Be male and based in Ndola.
  • Be ready and available to start work immediately.
  • Hold a Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Have a Certificate in Nursing Assistant.
  • A Diploma in Nursing will be an added advantage.
  • Have experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting (added advantage).
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be compassionate, patient, emotionally resilient, and able to work with clients experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate nursing care and support to clients.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients’ responses.
  • Observe, monitor, and report changes in clients’ physical and mental condition.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
  • Support clients during rehabilitation and recovery activities.
  • Assist with patient records and care documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
