Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Officer to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance programs in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments
  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and standards
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports
  • Organize and conduct safety training, inductions, and awareness programs
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to legal requirements
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the organization

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certification in Occupational Health & Safety ( or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2–3 years relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge of OHS regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to enforce compliance professionally
