Ukani Construction & Engineering Limited is a construction and engineering company based in Lusaka, Zambia, offering services in structural construction, interior design and civil works. We are seeking a competent and professional Office Administrator to support our growing operations.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling incoming calls, emails and walk-in enquiries professionally
  • Maintain and organise company documents, contracts, site records, and correspondence
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for management and site teams
  • Assist with preparation of invoices, tracking of payments, and basic bookkeeping entries
  • Support procurement administration including petty cash management and supplier correspondence
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Honest, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
  • A fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new processes and environments

Experience needed

  • Minimum 1–2 years of administrative experience (experience in a construction or engineering environment is an added advantage)
