JOB DETAILS:
Background
South Great Logistics Limited is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its transport operations.
Responsibilities
Set KPIs: on-time delivery %, truck utilization (km/day), cost per km, fuel efficiency.
Oversee routing, driver allocation, cross-border compliance, and maintenance integration.
Lead daily ops meeting and review exception reports (tracker, reconciliation, fleet).
Manage operations budget and cost-saving initiatives (backhauls, fuel cards).
Recruit, train, and evaluate ops team (officers, inspectors, dispatchers, trackers).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Business (MBA preferred).
7+ years transport operations experience, 3+ years as manager.
TMS and ERP proficiency (e.g., Samsara, FleetComplete, Oracle).
Competencies
Leadership, P&L management, corridor knowledge (EAC), crisis management.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
