JOB DETAILS:

Educational Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Economics, Development Economics, or a closely related field.
• A Ph.D. (completed or in progress) in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
• A teaching qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the tertiary or university level.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching Microeconomics and/or Macroeconomics courses.
• Experience in curriculum design and integration of economic models and data tools is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Solid grounding in economic theory, econometrics, and applied economic policy.
• Familiarity with economic modeling software and data analysis tools (e.g., STATA, EViews, R).
• Ability to apply economic theory to real-world scenarios.
• Proficient in Learning Management Systems and basic teaching tools.

Personal Attributes:

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Enthusiastic about engaging students in economic thought and application.
• Professional, reliable, and a team player.
• Flexible and responsive to diverse learning needs.

Additional Requirements:

• Evening teaching availability as required.
