Job Summary
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked products while maintaining excellent food quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery products.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the pastry section.
- Manage ingredients and minimize wastage.
- Follow production schedules and customer requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience working in a pastry section.
- Good knowledge of pastry preparation techniques.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
