WeCure Pharmacy, Zambia's leading online pharmacy, is expanding its team and seeking dedicated professionals for multiple positions.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

PHARMACIST (2 Positions)

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately to patients/customers, ensuring correct dosage, labeling, and patient counseling on proper usage and side effects.
  • Review and interpret physician prescriptions to verify appropriateness and detect potential drug interactions or contraindications.
  • Oversee the procurement, storage, and inventory management of pharmaceutical products, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper cold-chain storage where required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications, controlled substances, and narcotics in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Pharmacy Board/PPB).
  • Provide professional pharmaceutical care, including health screenings, vaccination services (where permitted), and over-the-counter product recommendations.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technologists, interns, and support staff in daily operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all legal, ethical, and safety standards, including proper disposal of expired or damaged drugs.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and license renewals to relevant health authorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service and pharmaceutical care
  • Dispense medicines and provide pharmaceutical advice where applicable
  • Maintain inventory, stock records, and monitor expiry dates
  • Prepare daily operational reports and support branch operations
  • Participate in community health awareness campaigns
  • Create health-related content for social media platforms
  • Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Pharmacist

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Registered or eligible for registration with HPCZ

Pharmacy Technologist

  • Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
  • Registered or eligible for registration with HPCZ

Finance & Operations Officer

  • Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS systems
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work day, evening, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Preference given to candidates residing in or near Chalala, Avondale, Chilenje, Woodlands, Libala, Salama Park, Ibex Hill, Chelston, PHI, Mtendere, Obama, or Kaunda Square
