Background
Northern Zambia Union Conference (NZUC) serves the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in northern Zambia. Its health ministry seeks to reflect Christ's healing work through compassionate, whole-person care, health education and service to communities. Kitwe Polytech Hospital (KTPH) is the Union's healthcare department serving the community through clinical, nursing, diagnostic, pharmaceutical and oral health services.
NZUC invites qualified professionals to apply for the six positions below. The responsibilities and requirements are set out in full on the following pages.
Role Context
The Pharmacy Technologist will assist in preparing, storing, compounding and dispensing medicines in accordance with prescriptions or formulae and the direction of the unit pharmacist.
Qualifications and Experience
Full Grade 12 or Form V Cambridge School Certificate.
Diploma in Pharmacy Technology from a recognised college.
Professional registration as specified in the supplied job description.
No minimum pre-job experience is specified.
Ability to write clearly in English and communicate fluently in English and local languages.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
