Power Engineer – Substation and Transmission
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, operate, and maintain electrical substations and transmission lines.
- Perform protection, control, and relay coordination studies for substations and transmission networks.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear).
- Monitor and optimize transmission system performance to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults in substations and transmission lines.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety and environmental guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in substation and transmission projects.
- Proven experience with high-voltage equipment (33kV, 66kV, 132kV, 220kV).
- Knowledge of protection, control, and SCADA systems.
- Experience in design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of substations and transmission lines.
