Responsibilities

• Prepare termly schemes and weekly forecasts.
• Prepare tests, exams and progress reports for pupils.
• Take an active role in the development and organizing of the school’s extracurricular activities.
• Have intrinsic knowledge of the Zambian curriculum.
• Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
• Manage student behaviour in accordance with outlined guidelines.
• Provide a safe, thriving and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus.

Requirements

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant teaching experience at primary level.
• Diploma or Degree in Education.
• Computer literate.
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia and holder of a teaching license.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
