Responsibilities
The school invites applicants who meet the requirements below to apply for the position of Primary School Teacher.
- Prepare termly schemes and weekly forecasts.
- Prepare tests, exams and progress reports for pupils.
- Take an active role in the development and organizing of the school’s extracurricular activities.
- Have intrinsic knowledge of the Zambian curriculum.
- Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
- Manage student behaviour in accordance with outlined guidelines.
- Provide a safe, thriving and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus.
Requirements
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant teaching experience at primary level.
- Diploma or Degree in Education.
- Computer literate.
- Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia and holder of a teaching license.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
