JOB DETAILS:

Kafue Children’s Christian Academy is a private Christian school, located in Kafue, implementing a social-emotional philosophy designed to reach vulnerable and orphaned children in the area. Our program, based on Capturing Kids Hearts, includes relationship building with individual children, lunch each day for every child, social welfare involvement, Gospel outreach to our community, and high educational excellence. Introductory trades training is also incorporated each term, utilizing the skills of teachers, board members, caretakers, and community members. The organization seeks to recruit suitably qualified, experienced, and competent individuals who will demonstrate commitment to the organization’s mission, vision, and values to be based in Kafue for the positions below:

Primary School Teacher.

The overall responsibility of the Class Teacher is to impart knowledge and skills to the learners.

The implementation of scheduled and unscheduled learning activities is in line with the Organization’s policy on education.
Guide academy students on expected behavior and hold them accountable for any shortfalls.
To create an environment that will enable students to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and psychological development.
Promote the interests of stakeholders who are learners and caretakers.

Candidate must be able to:

• Get things done and ensure the quality of the program or activity.
• Be proactive, take personal responsibility for actions, and demonstrate a desire to achieve excellence.
• Completes tasks in a timely, cost-effective way.

• Administer Exams

Academic and Professional Requirements:

• Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent with at least Five Credits in English, Math, and Science and any other subjects
• Minimum Diploma in Primary School Education (Teaching Council Certified)
• Computer literate (able to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• At least 1 year of traceable experience as an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to deliver quality results.
• Should be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
