Overview:
As a Printer Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our office equipment. Your technical expertise in maintenance and repair, combined with your commitment to outstanding customer service, will be essential in promoting the company's reputation and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize TechConnect/BPO consistently, adhering to all outlined procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance, representing the company positively as its ambassador.
- Prioritize equipment longevity and functionality by responding quickly to issues, efficiently repairing problems, and training customers for improved satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot issues autonomously, showcasing mechanical and electrical proficiency.
- Exhibit foundational networking knowledge.
- Apply strong computer and analytical skills to various tasks.
- Deliver excellent customer service, effectively communicating with clients.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed punctually and without errors.
- Provide detailed feedback, including call closure details, parts usage, and customer meter/counter readings.
- Recognize and capitalize on business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Maintain open lines of communication with customers, sales teams, management, and other departments respectfully and professionally.
- Solve problems efficiently and demonstrate a capacity to understand and convey technical information both in writing and verbally.
- Execute any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Secondary School Certification or equivalent; a Diploma in Electronics, Computer Studies, or Information Systems is preferred.
- Industry-specific certifications from CompTIA (like PDI+), or from manufacturers such as HP, Xerox, Konica, Lexmark, Ricoh, and Canon are a plus.
- A valid manual driver's license.
- Physical capability to lift and transport up to 25kg and handle equipment parts and boxes.
Desirable Qualifications (Added Advantage):
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate credential.
- Recent manufacturer-specific training from leading printer brands.
- Training or certification in IoT (Internet of Things) related to office equipment.
- Cybersecurity certifications, such as CompTIA Security+.
- Certifications or courses in sustainable IT practices or green printing solutions.
