JOB DETAILS:
Product Specialist: Remittance, Lending and Banktech
Job Description

The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:
• Works closely with the Manager to develop and deploy International Remittance, Lending and banking product roadmap in line with the overall Group strategy,
• Conducts extensive market and region research and creates realistic user stories for solution optimization;
• Benchmarks region best practices and conducts extensive research to identify appropriate pricing for products. Develops proposals to amend product pricing in line with country level nuances;
• Monitors revenue and cost for the product portfolio to maintain profitability as per organization strategy and business plan;
• Collaborates with CVM and Marketing teams to develop & analyze and identify potential strategic partners to drive loyalty/reward programs;
• Benchmarks best practices in the market, prepares business case and presents to senior management;
• Manages promotional calendar with third party services to drive sales growth back into the business;
• Uses relevant metrics and measures to monitor existing loyalty & reward programs;
• Gathers customer feedback on product performance and relays to the Group product teams, in a bid to improve product performance;
• Manages day-to-day product operations and establishes internal best practices in order to ensure effective utilization of the products;
• Manages Quality of Service of the Product to ensure seamless customer experience;
• Monitors & Analyzes traffic loads and in county system & platform capacity;
• Captures Voice of Customer through CSAT surveys, product reviews, complaints etc.

Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
• Bachelors degree in Marketing,. Banking and Finance or other business related fields.
• Relevant post graduate qualification is an advantage;
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ total experience in International Remittance or allied field is required;
• Experience in Fintech, banking or Mobile Money is preferred ;
• Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding of emerging markets is preferred.
