Selected Supplies Zambia is seeking a Production Foreman.

Responsibilities or duties

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the re-tread floor.
• Manage production workflow to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
• Maintain high standards of re-tread quality and safety.
• Supervise staff and ensure productivity and discipline are maintained.
• Monitor machinery, equipment, and maintenance schedules.
• Reduce waste, improve efficiencies, and optimize production output.
• Track production performance and report on operational KPIs.
• Assist with stock control and material management.
• Work closely with management to improve factory performance and profitability.

Qualifications or requirements

• G12 School Certificate & Diploma in production processes.
• EIZ practicing certificate & previous experience in either operations, production lines, manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Good understanding of production processes and operational planning.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Mechanically minded with good problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and basic reporting ability will be an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
