Position:

Project Planning and Documentation Engineer.

Location:

Kawambwa

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for Project Schedule Monitoring, Preparation of Reports, Coordination of Planning Activities, and Maintenance of Project Documentation to ensure smooth Project Execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and work plans.
  • Track project progress and identify delays or deviations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Coordinate with project teams to collect and analyse project data.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of project activities.
  • Assist in resource planning and project forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and reporting standards.
  • Support management with planning analysis and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain correspondence, drawings, reports, and technical records systematically.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project planning and documentation works.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience in construction/industrial project environments preferred.
  • All qualifications must be accredited by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) – mandatory requirement

Preferred Skills:

  • Good knowledge of project scheduling techniques.
  • Strong organizational and document control abilities.
  • Team coordination and time management capabilities.
