JOB DETAILS:
LOCATION: Provincial Health Office
JOB PURPOSE: To strengthen the implementation, management and use of the national EHR system at all levels of the health care cascade and ensure availability of quality data for decision-making and continuity of care.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY (MAIN DUTIES)
• Undertakes scale up of E-Last/E-Fast implementation to E-First facility
• Effectively undertakes implementation, coordination and management of the EHR system including scheduled maintenance, clearing of backlog and timely roll up of TDBS.
• Undertakes supportive supervision to Health facilities for enhanced or optimized usage of the system. Participates in the formulation and development of individual work plans for EHR Associates
• Maintains and monitors a log of backups and ensure that there is appropriate business continuity and information security, including provision of site back-ups media
• Undertakes operational research activities in order to generate HER. Undertakes maintenance and repair of malfunctioning and brokendown EHR equipment to minimize system down time
• Undertakes maintenance of up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and software Undertakes maintenance of up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and software.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 certificate with at least five O-level credits;
• Degree in Degree in Computer Science information Technology or equivalent;
• At least five (5) years relevant experience in TB/HIV Programme;
• Must be trained in WHO ART Modules
• Experience in PEPFAR supported TB/HIV programs will be an added advantage; . Training in Project management will be added advantage:
• Ability to write technical papers and reports clearly in English;
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and local languages; . Must between the Age of 21 years and 55 years;
Other skills/Attributes: Computer literate, Managerial skills, Interpersonal relations, initiative.

Bachelor Degree
