Quality Control and Laboratory Supervisor
Aller Aqua Zambia (AAZ) is a Zambian subsidiary of the global Al
Aller Aqua Zambia Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position of Quality Control and Laboratory Supervisor.
This role will be based at the Aller Aqua Feed Mill in Siavonga and is open to Zambian citizens only.

Job Purpose
To coordinate feed and raw material analysis, ensure proper data logging, compile reports, and communicate findings to the respective departments.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Right-Fit candidate will be responsible for:
• Ensuring complete monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for all product quality testing.
• Ensuring all testing is performed within the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensuring proper communication of laboratory results to all stakeholders.
• Assisting in the development and updating of laboratory procedures.
• Ensuring proper sample management and laboratory cleanliness.
• Maintaining all laboratory certifications and equipment.
• Sending timely and accurate reports to all stakeholders.
• Upholding SHE procedures relating to the laboratory.
• Managing Aller Aqua laboratory personnels’ skill development.
• Maintaining laboratory stock and inventory.
Our Quality Control and Laboratory Supervisor should have:
• A Degree in Laboratory Technology, Food Science, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Agriculture (specialized in animal/fish nutrition).
• Three (3) years of prior experience in Laboratory Analysis (experience working in food/feed processing will be a good advantage)
• Attention to detail and organised work structure.
• The ability to use laboratory tools and work night shifts.
• The ability to interact with colleagues and management with tact and diplomacy.
• The ability to formulate issues and suggestions precisely with solutions at hand and keeps deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate and conversant with MS Office package; particularly excel.
• Strong numerical skills to perform basic chemical and mathematical equations
