KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports on costs and budgets.
- Conduct cost control and value engineering. Identify commercial risks and opportunities related to cost and contractual issues.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, standards, and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee efficient contract preparation and management, ensuring effective performance monitoring, claims handling, and dispute resolution.
- Primarily focus on managing Underground Construction and Mining Business partners by strategically leveraging the Commercial Contract.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a quantity surveying role within the Mining industry.
- Expertise in construction contracts like NEC, FIDIC or bespoke contract suites.
