Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for projects.
• Analyze tenders and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Conduct site valuations to assess work progress and material usage.
• Advise on cost-saving strategies and value engineering.
• Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts for management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying for construction.
• Registered with the Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors (ZIQS).
• Proficiency in WinQS, CostX, or similar software.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
