Overall Purpose: To act as a signalman (Spotter) to guide equipment operators and truck drivers in areas with limited visibility to prevent collisions. ("Raptor" may be a company-specific term for this role).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain constant visual and radio communication with operators.
  • Use clear and standardized hand signals or radio commands.
  • Ensure the safe movement of vehicles and equipment in congested areas.
    Qualifications:
  • Training in safe spotting procedures.
  • Excellent communication and situational awareness.
