Reading Specialist Wanted for Arise Africa Schools

Are you passionate about fostering a love for reading and supporting students in their literacy journey? Our vibrant organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reading Specialist to help our students develop strong reading skills and succeed academically. If you’re enthusiastic about making a difference in children’s lives, we’d love to have you on board!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized reading instruction and support to students at various grade levels.
  Assess students’ reading abilities and create tailored intervention plans.
  Expert in literacy, Phonics and letter land
  Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to track student progress and implement effective strategies.
  Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
  Stay current with best practices in literacy instruction and contribute ideas to enhance school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education preferably literacy or similar qualification
  Certification in Reading or Literacy Education (professional)
  Experience working with diverse student populations, especially in a community set up
  Strong knowledge of phonics, Letter land, comprehension strategies, and assessment techniques.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  Passion for inspiring and empowering young learners.
