RECEPTIONIST
We are looking for a smart, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join the Chipo’s Lux Apartments team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a welcoming personality, and the ability to manage guest interactions professionally while ensuring a smooth reservation and check-in experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle phone calls, emails, WhatsApp inquiries, and walk-in guests
- Manage bookings, reservations, and guest check-ins/check-outs
- Coordinate online bookings through platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records
- Provide guests with information about services, facilities, and local guidance
- Handle customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Coordinate with housekeeping and management to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare daily reports and update guest records accurately
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism is an added advantage
- At least 1 year experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, or hotel operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Familiarity with online booking platforms is an added advantage
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Honest, reliable, and service-oriented
