The University is seeking to recruit suitably qualified individual for the position of Receptionist:

Job purpose

The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors, and stakeholders. The role is responsible for managing the front desk on a daily basis, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and efficient reception environment, while providing administrative and clerical support to facilitate smooth university operations.

Qualifications;

Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience and Competencies;

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative or front office role, preferably within an academic or institutional environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and external visitors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of professionalism, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder engagement ability.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and supportive university environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
