JOB DETAILS:
Zambia Cargo & Logistics Ltd (ZCL) is seeking a qualified and experienced Regional Freight Forwarding Agent to join our team.
The Regional Freight Forwarding Agent serves as the link between the company and the market, responsible for driving business growth, building client relationships, and
Promoting the company’s logistics and freight services. The role focuses on customer acquisition, market intelligence, and brand representation, while ensuring competitive positioning in the industry.
Responsibilities for the Role
I. Identifying and onboarding new customers, exploring new markets, and supporting revenue growth.
II. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry bodies.
III. Planning and executing marketing campaigns, representing the company at industry events, and ensuring positive brand visibility.
IV. Monitoring competitor activities and market handling rates, and advising management on competitive pricing strategies.
V. Providing regular updates to the Commercial Manager on marketing, customer activities, and corporate affairs, while using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of commercial strategies.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
I. Any Education qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
II. 5–10 years of experience in logistics industry
III. Experience in the logistics industry as an agent is preferred
IV. Working in the field is an added advantage

Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
