JOB DETAILS:

Number of Vacancies: 1

Contract Term: 6 Months (Probationary), 2 years (Full-term contract)

Reporting to: Reservations Control Manager

Location: Proflight Head Office

Deadline for Submissions: 20 June 2025

Start Date: 1 Aug 2025

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Fares Filing – loading, revision, review, testing of airline fares in various sales systems.
• Flight Inventory review and revising of fare and capacity inventory of airline seats in airline reservations system.
• Flight Schedules – loading, revision, review, testing of airline flights in various sales systems and visual platforms.
• Review of additional capacity and charter requests.
• IROPS-assist with flight rescheduling and passenger rebooks at times of Irregular Operations.
• Reservations System Management – setup/manage various parameters within system backend.
• Commercial Systems Technical Assistance – problem solving/resolution working with various suppliers and software systems.
• Revenue Accounting – liaison with outsourced supplier in all aspects of this area.
• Manage Groups and VIP Bookings.

SKILLS;

• Background/Knowledge in aviation industry, particularly in Commercial Airline section.
• System Knowledge in GDS, ATPCO, Videcom Reservations System, IATA BSP.
• Understanding of airline sales distribution system.
• Above average use of MS Excel.
• Understanding of Airline Ticket Revenue Accounting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with customers and colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Full grade twelve certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in the airline industry.
• At least 5 years’ experience and knowledge in a reservation department.

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
