THE HANGOUT PUB & GRILL – WE'RE HIRING!

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Join our team! We are recruiting for the following positions:

RESTAURANT/BAR MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily restaurant and bar operations.
• Supervise, train, and motivate staff.
• Control stock, conduct cash-ups, and ensure financial accountability.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service.
• Handle customer service and complaints.
• Coordinate events, promotions, and drive sales.
• Ensure compliance with all licences, policies, and statutory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in hospitality.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and stock control skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Valid NRC and Police Clearance (or able to obtain).

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: associate degree
