JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Designated Supervisor, the Quality Controller will be responsible for Quality Control 1 (QC1) - Validation checks of loan application documentation received from the Front Office stage.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

The job holder will be primarily responsible for the following Credit & Quality Assurance activities:

  • Validation and Authentication of customer’s loan application documentation provided by Front Office staff
  • Timely (and Quality Assured) delivery/ submission of validated loan application documentation to next loan application process Stage/ Authority
  • Timely communication of relevant corrective action recommendations/ guidance related to invalidated loan application documentation, to Front Office Teams
  • Maintenance of the Company’s Customer Loan application history databases/logs, as well as timely backup of the Company’s Customers’ loan application documentation/feedback on relevant Company platforms
  • Ensuring all relevant Credit & Quality Assurance department operational reports are consolidated and circulated on a timely basis
  • Perform sensitivity analysis/scenarios, when required to give input from a Credit standpoint
  • Reporting of / escalation of suspected frauds /actual frauds, in accordance with the Company’s Fraud Prevention Policy/Procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Degree (Preferably in Business Administration, Banking, any business-related field, or Social Sciences)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well under minimum supervision.
