Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce safety policies aligned with NCC and OSHA standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on construction sites.
• Train workers on PPE usage, hazard identification, and emergency procedures.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and waste management protocols.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports.
• Organize safety drills and awareness campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a safety officer in construction or related industries.
• Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or NEBOSH is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Zambian safety and environmental laws.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and write detailed reports.
