Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven ability to drive sales. As a Sales Agent, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and promoting solar energy solutions across Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new sales leads through fieldwork, referrals, social media, and networking.
  • Promote Marisfield Energies’ solar products and services to potential customers.
  • Conduct product presentations and site visits to assess client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and quotations.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate (a diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, electrical, or related industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of solar products is an advantage (training will be provided).
