About the role:
Our client, a Christian faith-based organisation, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and oversee the sales team, drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about evangelism and advancing our client’s mission, has a proven track record in sales, excels at leading teams and nurturing relationships, and embodies Christian values in their work. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, strong sales experience, and a commitment to integrating faith with professional excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to reach targets.
- Set sales targets, budgets, and performance goals on a monthly basis.
- Analyse market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Recruit, train, and manage the sales team.
- Assign clients and monitor team performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Track and analyse sales metrics, preparing regular reports.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, values and mission.
- Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Explore innovative sales techniques and tools to drive growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration or
related field.
- Proven sales track record with ability to meet targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent client relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with effective sales planning
- Analytical, able to track metrics and adjust strategiesClear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, working well with marketing and content teams
- Innovative and proactive in pursuing new opportunities
- Committed to Christian values and advancing our client’s mission
