Job Summary:
The Sales Officer is responsible for generating leads, meeting sales goals, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, presenting products or services, and closing sales to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential customers through cold calls, networking, and field visits.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Negotiate and close deals; handle objections professionally.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
- Maintain records of sales, revenue, and other important data.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Resident of Lusaka, Zambia with National Registration Card.
- Certificate in any business-related field; Diploma is an added advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
Remuneration:
Commission based
