SmartEnergy Technologies Limited is a Zambian renewable energy company specializing in solar power systems, on-grid and off-grid solutions, consultancy services, operations and maintenance. The company delivers renewable energy solutions to residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients across Zambia.
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to expand our customer base and drive sales growth in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Conduct site visits and customer consultations.
- Promote solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Follow up on inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and submit regular sales reports.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events.
Requirements
- Degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience (renewable energy, electrical, construction, or technical sales experience is an added advantage).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Good presentation and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
