Background

SmartEnergy Technologies Limited is a Zambian renewable energy company specializing in solar power systems, on-grid and off-grid solutions, consultancy services, operations and maintenance. The company delivers renewable energy solutions to residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients across Zambia.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to expand our customer base and drive sales growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Conduct site visits and customer consultations.
  • Promote solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic partners.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Follow up on inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and submit regular sales reports.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events.

Requirements

  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience (renewable energy, electrical, construction, or technical sales experience is an added advantage).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
  • Good presentation and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
