A graphic designing, printing and branding business is looking to hire a Sales and Business Development Officer (Monze x1 and Livingstone x1)
The Sales and Business Development Officer will secure and close sales opportunities for the business and ensure sales growth. S/He will also provide support to the marketing team as well as the rest of the team.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Provide efficient and effective sales and marketing support to ensure sales growth and market competitiveness.
- Follow sales leads and close sales opportunities and targets (daily, weekly and monthly).
- Take note of sales orders and ensure timely completion and collection of orders for clients
- Attend to customer enquiries and provide after sales support to customers
- Resolve customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction in line with business standards and expectations.
- Maintain an up to date client data base in collaboration with the sales and administration office, regularly checking on old clients and adding new clients
- Ensure payments are made as required and debt recoveries are done within agreed timelines.
- Providing market insights on the industry.
- Design and execute marketing and sales campaign activities.
- Generate sales strategies for competitiveness
- Participate in product and service marketing activities such as exhibitions etc
- Maintain good customer relationships and be a point of contact for customers.
- Any other sales support required.
- Branding support as required.
Qualification and Skills
- Certificate/Diploma in sales field
- Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
- Initiative — Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
- Team player — Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude
- Demonstrate sales experience
- Great time management
- Well-spoken and presentable
- Analytical and pays attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Packages- (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
