Accent Innovations Group Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Lead to head its sales function and supervise a team of four (4) Sales and Marketing Executives.

The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong leadership ability, a solid background in IT products, software solutions, and business development, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. This role requires someone who can lead from the front, build high-performing teams, and develop winning sales and marketing strategies.

Position: Sales and Marketing Lead

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities or duties

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the team of four Sales and Marketing Executives
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and ensure the team delivers results
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
  • Oversee preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations, and negotiations
  • Guide the team in marketing the company’s IT products, software solutions, and digital services
  • Work closely with technical and management teams to align client solutions with business objectives
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews
  • Represent the company in business meetings, networking events, and client engagements

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of software solutions, ICT products, and enterprise technology services
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions

Experience needed

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in IT, software, or technology solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business portfolios

Added Advantage

  • Experience in B2B sales, enterprise software, systems integration, or managed IT services
  • Existing network of corporate, government, or institutional clients
  • Valid driver’s licence
