Position Title:
Secondary School Teacher – Geography & English
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of a Secondary Teachers' Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a major in either Geography and English, or vice versa
- Must be a registered teacher with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school
- Proven ability to manage classrooms with professionalism, creativity, and patience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective classroom management and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons in Geography and English
- Design appropriate schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials
- Assess, monitor, and report on students’ academic progress through tests, assignments, and exams
- Participate actively in school programs, staff meetings, and extracurricular activities
- Maintain high academic standards and discipline within the classroom and the broader school environment
- Contribute to the academic and personal development of learners
