Job Description

The Security Guard will be responsible for protecting company premises, event management, VIP gaurding, monitoring activities, and ensuring the safety of clients, staff, and property. The role demands alertness, discipline, and the ability to respond quickly and professionally in any situation.

Key Responsibilities

• Guard company premises and ensure safety at all times
• Monitor movements of people and vehicles within assigned areas
• Conduct patrols and regular inspections of the premises
• Maintain accurate entry/exit records
• Report suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards immediately
• Enforce security procedures and company policies
• Assist visitors and provide basic information professionally
• Safeguard property against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and order within the work environment
• Write daily reports and handover notes for the next shift
• VIP and event security

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate (mandatory)
• Ages between 20 and 40 years
• Previous experience as a Security Guard is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Honest, sober-minded, and self-motivated
• Able to work with little to no supervision
• Physically fit and mentally alert
• High level of discipline and punctuality
• Good communication and observation skills
• Ability to work day or night shifts as required
